One of our main projects for this spring is to build a raised bed planter. We sketched out designs this week and I got to work building a CAD model to get accurate measurements and know exactly how it'll look like in the end.
I'm planning to write a longer post about this, but before that, I need to join the dune3d matrix room to ensure I'm not doing something horribly wrong 😅.
My matrix server has been down for a while as it was becoming really unstable and dendrite didn't receive any updates to stay compatible with modern clients. I want to use continuwuity for the next version but need to figure out stable, distributed storage on my cluster first. While writing this, I'm compiling the drbd kernel module to hopefully use piraeus/linstor.
I also finally got around to switching all my k8s nodes to cri-o. I don't have a technical reason, I just like it more than containerd.
On the editor front, I've started trimming down my emacs init.el to speed up
things and use more built-in features. It's nowhere near completion but I'm
actually happy with a very minimal amount of packages.
