Finished with templ and new beginning

Weekly Wrap 26/12

The templ migration is finally done! I completely removed the renderer.HTML function and everything is now renderer.Component. I'm really happy with the new layout and already got to reuse some components which I didn't realize were duplicated before.

With hegel.dev being announced this week and me stumbling upon bombadil again, something clicked in my head around Deterministic Simulation Testing. I finally understood how I can write an effective simmulator (using the patterns from bombadil) while testing for consistency with linear temporal logic and shrinking test cases using hegel.

When starting out with sharepa, I wanted to have a simulator for the activitypub federation to ensure what I'm writing works against large scale deployments as well but I was always intimidated by the complexity of writing the simulator. With these developments, I'm so back though. I'm looking forward to learing something new and exploring an area of testing I have zero experience with :)

Away from screens, I finished reading Ruined by Design. It was a great read and I didn't expect to finish it so fast. Mike opens this book on it being about hope and I for sure am more hopful of better things to come. Not sure what to read next. I did grab Just enough research with my learing & development budget as well but I might switch it up with some fiction instead.
