It's Lisp Game Jam time! I started this week by preparing the engine, following the architecture outlined by Will King in his talk and the accompanying series of blog posts. It took a while to get back into the lisp mindset (and I dearly miss my types 🥲) but I figured it out in the end. I don't plan on focusing on the jam full-time as I still have work to do and other obligations but this sunday morning, I finished the isogrid implementation at which I failed last time so things are looking good.
For our planned vacation in July, I picked up two empty bike shipping packages from a "nearby" bike store. Since we don't have a car, this took me two trips with my longboard - 20min in each direction so I was pretty exhausted by the end but at least we can tick this off our prep list now.
My wife and I also spent some quality time on Thursday, finishing the build of a book-nook that was surprisingly more involved than initially expected.
